Article Task

For this task, we were asked to choose an article and create spot sketches that represents important sections. I chose this article as I felt I could have a lot of leway with my sketches, and could do multiple different spot illustrations. 

I really like how all of these sketches came out, as I feel they all represent the certain sections of this article they belong to well. I particularly like the two far right sketches. I feel the small silhouette represents loneliness really well, and is easy the most powerful image on the page. The body being twisted at the bottom is also one of my favourites, as I feel it's very detailed and is powerful as an image to represent self esteem. 

I would develop some of these images further by adding more colour and inking them in, to make them stand out more. I would also redo my 'mood' sketch, as I feel it doesn't fit the page and doesn't work how I thought it would.
