Editorial introduction

Brief initial ideas

When first given this brief, I considered many different topics I could go into. Many of the topics I looked into, alike Women's rights and Mental Health, are very big and powerful topics that I am passionate about. However, looking through all of my initial ideas I knew I needed to be careful, as I didn't want to choose a topic that could potentially upset me, or other people. 

So, I decided to follow through with the Animal Extinction idea, specifically to do with poaching. I chose this as it is a relevant topic that I am very passionate about, but I am also more comfortable diving into.

My next steps are to really research into my subject idea, and start thumb nailing some ideas.
